OUR VINEYARD LOCATED IN NAPIERVILLE, MONTÉRÉGIE

Montérégie is a vast region that extends from Sorel-Tracy all the way to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Offering an abundance of natural spaces and tourist activities, this region has many historic sites where several chapters of Quebec’s history were written. Our vineyard is nestled in this bucolic landscape, in Napierville, between Lacolle and Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. From Montréal, take exit 21 on Highway 15 South.

YANNICK AND SANDRA TAKE UP THE TORCH

Born entrepreneurs, Sandra Gauthier and her partner Yannick Rochefort discovered a shared desire to reorient their professional activities by purchasing a property where they could be in control of the products they make from start to finish. Their passion for wine led them to buy Vignoble Morou, which had been well established in the region since 1987 and is one of the stops on the Circuit du Paysan agritourism route.


Planting vines, watching them grow, harvesting the grapes and making fine wines … this is how they have chosen to satisfy their love of a good challenge. And they want you to taste the fruits of their labour! In addition, their respect for nature will continue to guide them toward increasingly environmentally friendly and sustainable practices.


DISCOVER AND TOUR OUR VINEYARD

Depending on the season, Vignoble Morou can welcome groups of around 20 people, by reservation. However, the store onsite is open to anyone who wants to stop by to taste and purchase good wine. Parking and picnic areas are available to visitors. (Note that during the winter, visits to the store are by appointment only). We are a family business; come see us when you like. THE WINES WE ARE KNOWN FOR AND PROUD OF

Whether you prefer white, red or rosé, we are sure to have a wine you will love. Among our flagship wines, we offer a white made with Acadie Blanc grapes, a Canadian grape variety that is not very common and that few vineyards grow. It is a single-variety wine, meaning that it only contains this one grape variety. We also invite you to discover our Passerillé Blanc, a sweet white wine similar to an ice wine, with all the richness of a white port. As for everyday wines, we have a flavourful red that is perfect for any occasion and can be paired with a wide variety of dishes. Finally, for sunny summer and fall days, what better than a good rosé: light, fruity, not too dry, just the thing to get the party started!
